Roles and Responsibilities
To grow sales in the defined territory for the Industrial Gas products through direct and distribution channels.
The Industrial Gas products primarily consist of on-site nitrogen and oxygen generators, both membrane PSA technologies.
Provide direction and training to the sales groups to allow them to focus on markets where the industrial gas products have the best chance of success.
Provide back-office and face-to-face customer support to salespeople to assist in selling industrial gas products into their existing customer accounts.
Proactively uncover, quote and close orders for new sales opportunities by working directly with contractors, engineering firms, OEMs and end users.
Promotes industrial gas products to the regional market in order to achieve assigned sales revenue goals. Source and sell equipment to customers within assigned region.
Works with local sales and distribution to help prepare technical proposals and quotes to comply with the engineering specifications of the site.
Assist to help select the appropriate equipment, accessories and control systems based upon knowledge of the market place.
Provides technical support to the direct and distribution sales during the bidding process.
Assure that the sales team has reviewed and negotiated the terms and conditions with the final contractors.
Ensures a proper transition to the Project Management team or Order Entry team after the order is awarded.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

5+ years of outside sales experience
Industrial sales experience and sales management experience is a plus
Experience in on-site nitrogen and oxygen generation systems and industrial gases application and OEM market would be a great advantage
Knowledge of Atlas Copco sales structure and strategy is a plus
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred. Some additional related training or advanced education.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, above average computer skills, ability to analyze, assess, train, and implement programs and processes. Strong and positive personality. Up to 60% of overnight travel required.
